BC camp for Libya
Hi Everyone,
The Libyan community in British Columbia is kindly seeking your help in addressing what has now become an unbearable situation in Libya, where for the past 5 weeks we have seen unrelenting military attacks against innocent and unarmed Libyan civilians.
In a brutal attempt to hold to power to himself and his family, Gadhafi killed 10000 to 30000 people in since the start of the uprising in February.
The number of severely injured people is much higher. Sources on the ground have reported that the situation is dire with hospitals in Libya lacking the basic medical supplies and equipment to treat the injured.
Your donations will allow us to deliver critically require medical supplies directly to hospitals in Benghazi as well as to other towns including Misrata, Zentan, Derna, Bayda, and Tobruk, where reports have been received of a greater number of injuries.
